Privacy Policy
Last updated 1 August 2026
Let’s Build That Site (“we”, “us”) operates www.letsbuildthatsite.com. This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it.
It is written to the standard of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We are the data controller for the data described here.
The short version: this website has one form. If you do not use it, we do not collect anything about you beyond the standard server logs our host keeps to stay online and secure.
What this website collects
This website collects personal data in exactly one place: the project enquiry form.
When you submit that form we receive the project types you selected, your budget range, your timeline, your full name and your email address. If you choose to fill them in, we also receive your company name, your phone number and the short brief describing your project. Those three are optional and the form works without them.
There is no account, no login, no newsletter, no blog comments and no customer portal on this website, so there is nothing else for us to collect.
Separately, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, so the site can stay available and resist abuse. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
Enquiry form — to reply to you and prepare a quote. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f)).
Server logs — to keep the website secure, available and working. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating the site (Article 6(1)(f)).
Advertising cookies — to measure whether our ads lead to enquiries. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
Analytics cookies — to count visits and see which pages are read, so we can improve the site. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
Session recording — to see where people click, how far they scroll and where a page confuses them, so we can fix it. This records how the page was used, not what you type: the enquiry form is masked, so your name, email address, phone number and brief never appear in a recording. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects for you.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no analytics or advertising cookie unless you opt in. If you decline, the only cookie stored is the one that remembers you declined, and the site behaves exactly the same.
The Cookie Policy lists every cookie by name, what it does and how long it lasts.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of providers to run this site. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the following.
Resend, Vercel, Google and Microsoft act as processors: they handle data only on our instructions. Meta acts as an independent controller for advertising measurement. None of Meta, Google or Microsoft receives anything unless you have accepted measurement cookies.
| Provider | What it does | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Resend | Delivers your enquiry to our inbox as an email | United States |
| Vercel | Hosts and serves this website | United States / global edge |
| Meta Platforms | Advertising measurement — only with your consent | United States |
| Google (Analytics 4) | Website statistics — only with your consent | United States / EU |
| Microsoft (Clarity) | Heatmaps and session recordings, with the enquiry form masked — only with your consent | United States |
Sending data outside the EU
The providers above are based in the United States, so your data is transferred there. Where a provider is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, we rely on that. Otherwise we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep as little as possible, for as short a time as possible.
| Data | How long |
|---|---|
| Enquiry emails that did not become a project | Up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted |
| Records relating to an accepted project | 7 years, as required by tax and administration law |
| Server logs | Short term, as set by our hosting provider |
| Your cookie choice | 6 months, after which we ask again |
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or hand it to another provider. You can object to us using it, and where we rely on your consent you can withdraw that consent at any time.
To use any of these rights, email info@letsbuildthatsite.com. We will respond within one month. We will not ask you to send a copy of your passport or ID unless we genuinely cannot confirm who you are any other way.
If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first so we can fix it. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
Children
This website is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us their details, email info@letsbuildthatsite.com and we will delete it.
How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS, so what you send is encrypted in transit. Enquiries are delivered to a mailbox protected by access controls. No system is perfectly secure, which is why we deliberately keep the amount of data we hold small.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date shown at the top. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, and the law requires fresh consent, we will ask for it rather than assume it.
