The business
SAX run ATV rentals and guided tours on Sint Maarten. For years both sat inside their car rental website, the same place people went to book a sedan for the week. It worked, until it didn't: demand for the tours kept climbing, and the part of the business that was growing fastest was also the hardest to find.
They came to us after seeing one of our ads, with a simple question: should the tours have a site of their own?
The problem
A tour is not a car rental. Someone booking an ATV ride is choosing an afternoon out, not comparing day rates and insurance excess, and asking them to do that on a car rental site costs you the booking. The tours needed their own front door, with their own pictures and their own language.
The catch was that it still had to look like SAX. Two sites that feel like two different companies confuse the customers you already have, so the new one had to be clearly separate and unmistakably the same business.
The solution
We built a standalone site for the tours and ATV rentals, carrying the SAX branding across so the two still read as one company. The tours lead, the rentals sit beside them, and booking either takes a couple of taps on a phone, which is where people are when they decide what to do tomorrow.
The layout is deliberately plain: see the tour, see what it includes, book it. Nothing between the visitor and the thing they came for.
- A dedicated site for tours and ATV rentals, separate from the car rental business
- Consistent SAX branding across both
- Mobile-first booking flow, built for visitors deciding on the day
- Tour and rental pages with their own photography and plain-language detail
The results
Bookings went up after the new site launched. Cindy, who owns SAX, told us the site is easy for their clients to use, which, for a business that lives on same-day decisions, is the whole point.
